Video on elder abuse 13.01.2010

On March 17th 2008 the European Commission organized a conference titled  'Protecting the dignity of older persons'. On this occasion, the DG for Employment, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities produced a video report telling the stories of some people who had been abused by those around them, their family or healthcare staff. The video gives in insight in what elder abuse is and what the Commission is trying to do to address the problem.
