How widely is this good practice used in your country? | TheCommunity Day Care Centresfirst appeared in Greece in 1979 when the Ministry of Health and Welfare asked from the Volunteer Group for his cooperation in the creation of an Experimental Center of Open out of Institution Protection of Seniors. The institution ofCommunity Day Care Centres was adoptedin 1984 by a legislative initiation funded by the Ministry of Health and Welfare. The institution has evolved gradually through local authorities, developed and expanded across the country with currently more than 900 centers operating. |
