Enhancing expertise and understanding of elder abuse and derailed care among staff members of nursing homes,  recognizing early signs of elder abuse or derailed care and knowing what to do in case of suspicions of elder abuse or derailed care.

Employees working with or visiting elderly  residents of nursing homes. Employees from care organizations and independent professional carers.

A three-hour training.

The first evaluation shows that the participants of the training and conference reacted positively and have actually managed to discuss the subject in their organizations on a more regular basis.
