First partner meeting EuROPEAN 22.01.2010

On 7 and 8 January 2010 the first meeting for the EuROPEAN project was held in Utrecht, The Netherlands. All project partners considered the first meeting to be a succes.

During the meeting the meaning and context of (the prevention of) elder abuse in each participating country was discussed. This gave some insight in the scope of the problem. The Powerpoint presentation of each partner can be found HERE. Also, the project partners discussed several important policy and research papers that have been done on the topic up until this day. The partners are looking forward to developing a reference framework that will give recommendations on the most urgent and succesful matters that should be taken in each Member State to prevent elder abuse from happening.
